On August 31, the reporter learned from Wenzhou Transportation Bureau that the preliminary design budget of Liushi Interchange Project added to Yueqing Section of Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou Expressway was approved a few days ago.

Liushi Interchange added to Yueqing Section of Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou Expressway is located in the north of Liushi Town of Yueqing, about 9.1 km from Yueqing Interchange and 9.7 km from North Bridge Interchange. The main scale of the project is to add one single horn interchange, and carry out the necessary widening and reconstruction of the main line, with the width of about 1.24km, the total length of new ramps of about 2.2km, a new ramp toll station, and the necessary traffic management auxiliary rooms; Meanwhile, about 1.6 kilometers of interconnection lines will be built.

Yong Tai Wen Expressway is a two-way four lane expressway. The design speed of newly-built interchange ramps is 40km/h, the width of one-way single lane ramp subgrade is 9m, and the width of two-way two lane ramp subgrade is 16.5m. The interchange connecting line adopts the standard of two-way four lane first-class highway, the design speed is 80 km/h, and the subgrade width is 25.5 m.

It is reported that after the completion of Liushi Interchange of Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou Expressway, the service function of Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou Expressway will be greatly improved, the traffic congestion of skeleton roads in areas such as National Highway 104 and Liujiang Road will be alleviated, the "multi-point access" of Yueqing urban area will be built, and the linkage between expressway and high-speed rail will be effectively exerted. At the same time, the construction of characteristic towns in Liushi Town will be accelerated, and the development of regional tourism resources such as Zhongyandang Mountain Scenic Area will be promoted.
